CyMOT is the first program of its kind focused on increasing manufacturing workers’ knowledge of cybersecurity.
Features of CyMOT
- Role-based training: Courseware addressing the need to acquire the skills necessary to protect manufacturers from cyber-attacks.: Curriculum crafted around the Job Role skills and abilities from MxD’s Hiring Guide; backed by manufacturing executives, HR departments, educators, and policy makers.
- Targeted to Cyber Manufacturing - Our learning plans are developed to train and upskill workers for a myriad of specific manufacturing roles crucial to the future of cybersecurity.
- Learning from the Best - Our courses leverage the cyber training expertise of University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Training Centers and the cyber manufacturing expertise of of MxD.
- Validated courseware – Using Cybersecurity Concept Inventory for Manufacturing
The CyMOT Training starts May 17th and will meet entirely online. All course materials and activities will be provided. Class meetings will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings and led by a live instructor. Completion of all three CyMOT courses will result in a Certificate in Manufacturing Cyber Systems Operation.
