Finding The Right Supplier for Precision Parts – The First Time

It can take months to manufacture a newly designed precision part, so it is crucial for manufacturers to choose suppliers with the ability to produce accurate parts the first time. This MxD project led by Boeing developed a software tool that virtually replicates a supplier’s machines and verifies their ability to produce parts to the required design specifications.
