Our Team

Prior to joining MxD, Sam spent over 11 years on Active Duty supporting the United States Air Force and United States Space Force. Most recently, as a contractor, Sam supported the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Engineering directorate as the Lead Information System Security Officer. His career spans multiple Information Technology and Cybersecurity roles; from enterprise-level network administration, cybersecurity governance, and implementation of the Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework. While on active duty, Sam completed his undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity through the University of Maryland, University College. He also holds his Comptia Security+ certification and is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).

Sam continues to proudly serve in the United States Air Force Reserves (USAFR) as a Combat Crew Communications Specialist supporting global air-refueling missions. In his free time, Sam enjoys time with his family, building with Legos, listening to a variety of music, and long rides on his Moto Guzzi.
