Our Team

Laurie Cochran is the Programs Manager of Membership Engagement for MxD. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Disciplined Agile® Scrum Master (DASM), she brings extensive experience in project and event management, with a focus on high tech and manufacturing.

Throughout her career, she focused on training and education, as well as customer service and relationships. Laurie has more than twenty years of experience and involvement in business-to-business marketing and communication, as well as program and event strategy formulation and execution. She has also acted as a primary lead for logistics, oversight, and planning for internal, external, large, and small-scale events in live, virtual, and self-study formats.

She successfully managed and executed a global rebranding strategy and tactical plan for a previous business unit of PPG (a Fortune 500 company and global supplier of paints and coatings), resulting in standardization of the business unit’s value proposition, its brand positioning and messaging across eleven product lines and nine major markets. Additionally, she oversaw and managed the business unit’s annual multi-million-dollar project and event budget.

A native of the Pittsburgh, PA area, she has lived in the Chicago area since 2016.
