John Rutherford
Sr. Financial Analyst, Grants
John is a native Chicagoan and father of two boys, Blake and Andrew. He graduated from Whitney Young HS in Chicago, achieved his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Morehouse College in Atlanta, during which he also studied abroad at Lancaster University in England. He recently completed studies for a Master of Science in Finance from Illinois Institute of Technology.
He has a blend of both finance/accounting experience as an Analyst in both the for-profit & non-profit industries with an emphasis on financial modeling. He is an advanced excel user with intermediate VBA experience and coursework in financial programming in Python.
He enjoys all things carpentry, tools, sports, and sometimes exercise with an emphasis on trying to stay as swift as his children.
