About Software AG’s Involvement
Software AG and MxD have a mutually shared vision of the “future factory” and recognize the importance of having a living test-bed for digital manufacturing technology. Software AG opened its digital manufacturing exhibit in 2020, showcasing a number of ways in which IIoT combined with advanced analytics is transforming production operations.
Factory Floor
MxD’s 22,000-square-foot research factory is used to test and demonstrate new technology; train the workforce on these new systems and tools, and demonstrate the need for cybersecurity in manufacturing.
On the MxD floor, the Software AG exhibit has several demonstrations on how manufacturers can gain efficiencies in increasing productivity, reducing waste, saving energy, and improving overall processes. Visitors are able to see our demos in action, including: Smart Factory, Smart Energy, Smart Logistics, and self-service industrial analytics.
