The Virtual Training Center (VTC) is a virtual platform for recruiting, training and securing the manufacturing workforce. The VTC provides access to content and tools remotely and instantaneously for rapid evolution and development of a skilled workforce.
The Virtual Training Center allows both users and contributors to access content and tools remotely and instantaneously for rapid evolution and application. The goal is to provide manufacturers with a first of its kind platform to recruit and develop its workforce, encourage the use of cutting-edge technologies, and secure the workforce resiliency of their individual organizations and supply chains.
The VTC will enhance regional manufacturing networks and partner capabilities, collaboration and accessibility to knowledge by effectively enabling:
Virtual manufacturing workforce education and development, including serving as a repository of curriculum, career pathways information, and other workforce-related resources.
Risk management and compliance for adoption of digital and cybersecurity for manufacturing practices.
Digitization/innovation for manufacturing processes and supply chains.
The Virtual Training Center platform provides inclusion of innovative content sharing of digital manufacturing and cybersecurity for manufacturing from the MxD portfolio, as well as innovative content development from organizations who wish to collaborate with MxD.
